Doctor Wm. Philip Werschler earned his medical degree with honors from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he also completed his residency and fellowship in dermatology, following initial training in internal medicine at the University of Arizona. He is Assistant Clinical Professor in Medicine/Dermatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, Washington. He is President of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery (ASCDAS) (2010), Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).
Doctor Werschler has been an active leader in the development of selected cosmetic techniques and procedures for the concept of Non-surgical Total Facial Rejuvenation (NSTFR), as a foundation for minimally invasive cosmetic renewal. He is the founder of Premier Clinical Research, a leading clinical trials unit specializing in dermatology product development. In this capacity, he has been extensively involved in the introduction of lasers, toxins, fillers, and skin care products to the specialties of dermatology and plastic surgery. He also serves as Aesthetic Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Cosmetic Dermatology, and member of the editorial boards of Cutis, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and Skin & Aging.
